Former synagogue of Niederbronn-les-Bains

Built in 1869, this synagogue is listed as a historical monument and presents oriental architecture with the dominance of windows with horseshoe arches. Its imposing dimensions in relation to the local Jewish community are justified by the need to adapt to the monumental environment: church, chapel and convent. The synagogue was ransacked during World War II. The building, sold to the town in 1989 currently houses the Catholic parish home.
