Dive into history at the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions in Offwiller! Housed in an authentic farmhouse, it lets you discover the habitat and daily life of the peasant workers of the Vosges foothills in the 19th century.

The Museum occupies a peasant's house which allows to discover the habitat and the domestic life of the worker-peasants of the foothills of the Vosges in the XIXth century. You can approach a way of life made of hard work, traditions and celebrations, such as that of the throwing of flaming discs: the "Schieweschlawe", or throwing of burning discs at the time of the equinox.
