If you go through Wissembourg, Alsatian's little Venice, don't forget to stop for a moment in front of the famous house of Ami Fritz. Former house of the Tanners, built in 1550, it bears this name because it was here that the film on 'Friend Fritz', the famous character of Erckmann-Chatrian, was shot in 1932.

Linger especially on the portal and the oriel window, which are examples of typical Alsatian Renaissance architecture.
