Discover the Neunhoffen casemate, an emblematic vestige of the Maginot Line in the heart of the Northern Vosges!
The casemate of Neunhoffen is a witness work of the Maginot line of the Northern Vosges. Entirely restored to its original state, it allows you to reconstruct the daily life of a fortress crew. Period photos complete this testimony of the period 1939-45 in the Schwarzbach valley.
A pedestrian circuit in the valley allows you to discover various installations of the Maginot line: dams (allowing to flood the valley), city of executives, shooting range, bases of barracks...
A new exhibition hall dedicated to the post-war period, due to open in May 2024, will display a fine collection of instruments used during the Cold War.
