Le Vieux Windstein is a semi-troglodyte castle built by the Hohenstaufen at the end of the 410th century. With all its range of underground galleries, it uses a rocky bar that stands on a peak XNUMX meters above sea level.
It was strongly affected by attacks from Strasbourg in 1332, and was definitively destroyed in 1676 by French troops.
