With its remarkable rows of white half-timbered houses and the richness of its flowers, Seebach (Oberseebach) is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Alsace. The village has the distinction of having been cut in two denominationally at the level of the town hall which is located in the center. The northern part was Reformed Protestant, and the southern part Catholic. Go up the street of the church, or that of the blacksmiths, from end to end to see the differences which remain between the two parts of the village, take the time to observe the details of the houses (patterns of the half-timberings, corner posts, inscriptions) , enjoy their gardens...

Every year in July, the village mobilizes on the occasion of the Streisselhochzeit, the reconstruction of a traditional wedding with a bouquet, an unmissable festive event of summer in Alsace.
