Detached half-timbered house completely renovated located in a village 40 km north of Strasbourg and close to tourist sites and the Regional Natural Park of the Northern Vosges.

Forstheim is ideally located to radiate towards the multitude of tourist places to discover in northern Alsace.



Many hiking trails marked by the Club Vosgien for beautiful hikes or simple family walks off the beaten track. The owners will be able to advise and provide you with routes on an IGN map that can be used on a GPS application on your phone (IGNrando, Visorando...), loan of IGN 1/25 maps with the marked trails of the Club Vosgien.



In the surrounding area, you'll find numerous gourmet restaurants, Christmas markets, the thermal spas of Morsbronn-les-Bains and Niederbronn-les-Bains, and the Didiland amusement park just 3 km away. There are also many museums, including the Lalique Crystal Factory, the Iron Museum, the Petroleum Museum, the Museum of the Battle of August 6, 1870, and the Rural House of the Outre-Forêt region. The battlefields of August 6, 1870, and their numerous monuments are nearby. Explore the pottery villages of Soufflenheim and Betschdorf, the underground fortifications of the Maginot Line, the Cleebourg wine cellars, the famous Kirwiller cabaret, and the Chemin des Cîmes (Treetop Trail). Numerous villages with half-timbered houses are also nearby, such as Hunspach (voted France's favorite village in 2020) and Seebach. The proximity of the border allows for excursions into Germany (Baden-Baden, the Black Forest, etc.).
