This hiking trail starting from Walbourg train station offers a beautiful and long 34 km loop, ideal for a weekend combining nature and heritage. The route passes through the villages of Biblisheim and Surbourg, then continues towards Betschdorf and takes you through the Haguenau Forest, a designated "Exceptional Forest®". The trail then leaves the forest and returns you to Walbourg. This route offers hikers an immersive experience amidst fields, open-air museums, and historical monuments (Walbourg Memorial, Sainte-Walburge Abbey, Saint-Martin and Saint-Arbogast Collegiate Church, the Haguenau Forest, and the pottery village of Betschdorf).
