On this 15 km hike, discover the mysterious and historically rich heritage surrounding the Kappelstein. The trail winds through a bucolic landscape where ancient cup-marked stones and the remains of a Celtic enclosure are hidden. A highlight of the route is the Kappelstein observatory, a reminder of a significant episode from the war. It was attacked and dynamited by a German commando in May 1940.
