Cycle between the Green Stations of Lembach and Niederbronn-les-Bains. A route of nearly 28 km through the Northern Vosges massif lends itself to the discovery of the many rocks and ruins of fortified castles overlooking the cycle route. Start from Lembach and join the direction of Niedersteinbach. Between the two, make an incursion into the Château de Fleckenstein. This 12th century semi-troglodyte building is remarkable for its construction and its location, a few steps from the German border. A visit to the castle is essential whether you are with friends or family! Continue downhill towards Fleckenstein pond and its campsite.
Go around the pond and reach the picturesque village of Niedersteinbach, located in its green setting. Then cross the village of Obersteinbach surrounded by many remarkable rocks and head towards Niederbronn-les-Bains. Don't miss a stop at the Château du Schoeneck before heading to the spa town of Niederbronn-les-Bains. This spa town classified as Station Verte stands out as a must in Alsace Verte and its many assets: spa town with its casino and its various possibilities of discovery (Maison de l'Archéologie, Roman remains), located at the foot of the highest point of the Vosges North marked by the Great Wintersberg.
