In the heart of the Schwarzbach valley, this hike will make you discover some of the most emblematic remains of the Niederbronn-les-Bains region: first of all the forges of Dietrich, illustrating the intense metallurgical activity of our region between the XNUMXth century and the XNUMXth century, then later the ruins of the castles of Windstein, dating from the Middle Ages.

Departure from the parking lot of the Jaegerthal forges: follow the signs to the Windstein mill, then pass to the New and Old Windstein, Col de Guensthal, Welschhof, return to Jaegerthal.
