Superb hike to the Wintersberg massif to reach the highest point of the Northern Vosges, at 581 meters above sea level.
From the car park located opposite the Akcias restaurant, walk towards Grand Wintersberg.
Once at the top, savor the exceptional panorama: you dominate the Northern Vosges, the Black Forest, the nearby Palatinate and, on a clear day, Strasbourg Cathedral even looms on the horizon.
From the town center of Niederbronn-les-Bains: follow the markings to the Col du Borneberg - passing through the Pottaschplatz, Col de la Liese, Grand Wintersberg, then return via the Durschbach valley.
