Hiking trail from Soultz-sous-Forêts to Surbourg via Betschdorf

This circuit starts from the GR531 trail, located behind the Match supermarket. Join the alley that crosses the Seltzbach stream and reaches the Protestant church of Soultz-sous-Forêts. Continue along Rue des Echevins and pass the post office. Continue along Rue du Château and join Rue des Barons de Fleckenstein, then continue to the crossroads. At the crossroads, continue along the street opposite, Rue Frohnacker, until the next roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first street on the right and go under the small road bridge. Continue straight ahead until Rue de Seltz. At Rue de Seltz, turn left and head towards Hohwiller, staying on the cycle path and watching out for bicycles.
Cross Hohwiller and turn right onto Rue de Betschdorf, then reach Betschdorf. Arrive in Betschdorf via Rue des Francs. Cross the potters' village and take the opportunity to visit the Pottery Museum and the village's pottery artisans. Join Rue Vieille Rue, then at the Betschdorf exit, turn right and take the green cycle path to Surbourg, paying attention to bicycles. Arriving in Surbourg, exit the green path and turn right onto Rue du Général de Gaulle, then turn left onto Rue Arbogast, then Rue des Ecoles, in front of the Saint-Martin-et-Saint-Arbogast church. Continue along Rue du Docteur Deutsch and continue to Soultz-sous-Forêts via the Way of St. James. Return to the train station and then to the official start of the GR531.
