Hiking trail from Soultz-sous-Forêts to the Alsace Treetop Trail

From Soultz-sous-Forêts train station, join the official start of the GR531 towards the Chemin des Cimes Alsace as well as the Camino de Santiago on the return towards Soultz-sous-Forêts. Varied route between villages, valleys in the foothills of the Northern Vosges and forest. In season, don't miss the visit of the Chemin des Cimes Alsace with a panoramic view of the entire Green Alsace! From the train station, join the Match supermarket for the first stage of the circuit and the official start of the GR531. An interactive terminal as well as a service area for camper vans are located at the start of the GR531 at the end of the supermarket parking lot. Follow the blue rectangle of the GR531 and successively cross the villages of Retschwiller then Memmelshoffen and Drachenbronn via the Auberge des Sept Fontaines and arrive at the Chemin des Cimes Alsace parking lot. You can visit the Alsace Treetop Trail and the Alsace Adventure Forest. For the return journey, take the marked yellow dot trail and go through the village of Birlenbach. After leaving Birlenbach, head east along the yellow diamond, then at the next intersection, turn right and reach Soultz-sous-Forêts by following the green marker, which corresponds to the Way of St. James.
