Conservatory orchard for collection of pear trees

The Gunstett pear orchard school and conservatory was created in 1995 by Parish Priest Paul Winninger. Located in the heart of the village, on 25 acres of land near the church, it has some 400 trees and more than 150 different varieties of pears: the Soldat Laboureur pear, the Imperial Oak Leaf, the Schokoladenbirne, the Bon Chrétien d'Hiver pear, the Colin Noire, the Duchess of Angoulème, the Countess of Paris...
