This 13th century building overlooking Niederbronn-les-Bains retains many architectural treasures. The commented visit of the castle will be completed by the discovery of the MATTHIS path and its points of interest (fairy garden, stone cupules, place of the witches).
Access to the castle is possible on foot by following various routes (30 to 45 minutes):
- from the station of Niederbronn-les-Bains by the signposted path of the King of Rome
- from Oberbronn, after the forest house
- from the Ungerthal pass towards Kreutztannen, then the Wasenbourg path
