Nice walk in the forest to meet the Charbonniers. The origin of the village dates back to the 17th century when the Fleckensteins had a glass factory built near Mattstall. The name Disteldorf is mentioned for the first time in 1651 and becomes a village of charcoal burners which depends administratively on Lembach.
