In this context and to bring this sector to a level of excellence, Alsace Destination Tourisme supports local players and validates the obtaining of the “Accueil Vélo” label.. This national brand is a guarantee of the quality of the welcome and services offered to customers and cycling travellers.

How to obtain the Accueil Vélo brand?

To be labeled Accueil Vélo, you must meet a certain number of criteria and conditions prerequisites: 

• – Be at less than 5 km a marked cycle route*
• – Find out about the Alsace à Vélo offer and promote it (local and Alsatian)
• – Be engaged in a voluntary quality approach when it exists (ranking, labeling or qualification)
• – Propose equipment and services suitable for bicycle tourists
• - Fill all the mandatory criteria of the Accueil Vélo quality standard corresponding to its field of activity. 

Who can be labelled?

6 categories of professionals can apply for the Accueil Vélo label:

• – Bike repairers
• – Tourist accommodation providers (hotel, furnished accommodation, bed and breakfast, campsite, holiday village, stopover lodge, hotel residence, youth hostel, etc.)
• – Restaurateurs
• – Bicycle rental
• – Tourist offices
• - Tourist attractions
