In order to always receive you better and to improve the quality of tourist services in France, the State has created the Qualité Tourisme™ label.

The Qualité Tourisme™ brand is the only state brand awarded to tourism professionals for the quality of their welcome and their services.

To obtain the mark, the service provider must successfully follow a quality approach that complies with the essential requirements for your satisfaction. As a guarantee of confidence, the services are regularly subject to an unannounced and independent check. This sign of recognition therefore allows you to confidently choose tourist establishments that offer quality services.

It is aimed at the entire tourist reception chain: accommodation, catering, places to visit, sports and leisure activities, tourist offices, etc. 

The Tourism Quality Mark is awarded :

  • to tourism professionals for the quality of their welcome and their services, as part of a voluntary approach;
  • by the State (the under direction of Tourism, of the General Directorate of Enterprises of the Ministry of Economy and Finance), thanks to the involvement of its numerous private or institutional partners.

To obtain the Tourism Quality Mark, a candidate establishment

  • Must subscribe to the values ​​of the Brand and commit to:
    • A warm welcome;
    • Attentive staff;
    • Mastery of foreign languages;
    • Personalized services;
    • Clear and precise information;
    • Cleanliness and comfort assured;
    • The discovery of a destination;
    • Consideration of your opinion.
  • Be classified if the regulatory classification exists for the activity (Hotels, Tourist Residences, Tourist Offices, etc.);
  • Implement customer listening (complaint processing, satisfaction questionnaire, e-reputation analysis, etc.);
  • Be audited on the basis of national benchmarks (between 250 and 600 evaluation criteria) by an external and independent firm at a regular frequency (3 or 5 years);
  • Achieve a high level of performance during this audit carried out as a mystery shopper (minimum score of 85%).
